And then it turned into oh no, what have I done...

Right now I have a litany of country music lyrics flowing through my brain….for instance:

And then it turned into oh no, what have I done…(Carrie Underwood ~ “Last Name”)
So I sit here and wonder to myself…What the hell was I thinking? …(David Pedersen…”What the Hell”)
You might think I’m trashy, A little too hard core…But in my neck of the woods I’m just the girl next door…(Gretchen Wilson “Red Neck Women”)
Well, there are things in life I regret and even more that haven’t happened yet …(Brad Paisley “Some Mistakes”)
You get the idea….

I went with a friend yesterday, for what was suppose to be an "informational "trip to a

T A T T O O parlor .

I’ve been thinking of getting one for a very, very long time. In fact, since I was 18!  At that time I wanted a Soccer ball on my ankle…can I just tell you how

H A P P Y!!

I am that I didn’t go through with it….way back when…

This time around, I new I wanted something to signify my children. I wanted it small and tactful, something that fit my Type “A” personality, and I wanted it on my foot!

This is what I chose:

My research unveiled, that the Triple Spiral or Triskele, represents the three powers of maiden, mother and crone. It is a sign of female power more significantly, power through transition and growth. It’s sometimes also used to represent the three realms of land, sea, and sky, and based on research of the early Celtic symbols, the Celts gave great significance to things coming in threes: earth, water, sky; body, mind, spirit; birth, death, rebirth, past, present, future.

I give great significance to the number three too! My three children! Each color (Red, Blue and Purple) represents one of my lovely children…

So as I berate myself over my impulsive decision…there is one thing I now to be true…

There won’t be any….

”OOPS, I DID IT AGAIN!”

 for this mom… ha ha

Thanks for stopping by!!

It's beautiful! The symbolism and meaningful nature of your choice make it even more so.
